Insurance Discount Survey and Wind Mitigation Inspection

What is an Insurance Discount Survey?

An Insurance Discount Survey is a simple inspection designed to save you money!
More specifically, Florida law requires insurance companies to offer homeowners discounts or credits for building features and upgrades that help prevent or reduce the amount of damage and loss during wind storms. A “Uniform Verification Mitigation Form” (OIR-B1-1802) will be completed by our licensed general contractor, which, when given to your home owner’s insurance agent, may qualify you to receive discounts/credits, potentially saving hundreds or even thousands of dollars a year.

Your home may already meet several of the criteria not being taken advantage of. The best way to figure out if you could qualify for potential discounts is to call our office and answer a few simple questions about the shape and age of your roof, type of building construction, whether or not you have window protection and a few other easy to answer questions.

Some homes may not qualify for discounts or for significant discounts and your Britannia Building Consultant can advise you as to what upgrades can be made to get the most return on your investment.

Favor to Ask- Regarding Miller Brewing

To all my colleagues, clients and friends in the Tampa Bay area,

As many of you know my husband works for the Miller Brewing company. He works with the local Miller Distributor, JJ Taylor. They have taken on an enormous task to increase sales for the Miller Lite Brand to record levels in June.

They have done this to help the Miller Brewing Company hit their year to date goals and so that 60 of his associates can make their bonuses! It is times like these, their bonuses become critical to their families. Can you believe that you can help 60 families just by purchasing one case of Miller Lite beer!

If you don’t drink beer it would be a great time to deliver a case to a family member or friend just to let them know you are thinking of them. Give it to a neighbor who has been helpful in the past. Father’s day is just around the corner, give him a case with your gift. YOU CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE.

Okay, maybe you don’t drink Miller Lite… first you are missing out on a great tasting lite beer but by switching from your usual beer of preference you are making a difference in 60 families not just m 60 people but 60 families lives.

Today it was officially announced that Miller and Coors Brewing will combine in a joint venture. What does this mean? Some people may be let go due to duplication in job responsibilities.

I am reaching out to all of you for a very easy way to help others and it won’t require much time or money to do this.

Mention this to all of your friends, use this as an excuse to have a party.

Many times through out the year my husband and other people in the Miller Brewing company provides beer to all kinds of charity functions through out the Tampa Bay area including a recent local school golf tournament. In addition to beer they provide hats, T-shirts, visors, and many other substantial gifts for these functions.

I normally wouldn’t ask this of anyone but since my husband "The Oz Man" and his team volunteered and were courageous enough to take on this enormous endeavor to help their fellow associates; I thought I would reach out to all of you. ONE CASE OF BEER CAN MAKE A BIG DIFFERENCE in the month of June.

Please pass this along to others who may be interested in a Great Tasting/Less Filling Beer and look for the $15 Mail in rebate on two cases of Lite at your local store.
